The first step in the fulfillment process is, of course, getting orders into our fulfillment system. The Silicon Valley Direct Fulfillment Solution offers a range of flexible options. We make it easy to get orders into the system. Regardless of your system we have a System Integration Solution that will work for you.
System Integration
In today’s multi-channel / omni-channel environment, it is also quite common for orders to originate from a variety of sources. For example, many of our clients have multiple order sources. Our fulfillment system allows multiple sources to use a single inventory source, this keeps your available inventory totals the same no matter how many order sources you may have.
Integrations with Commercial Shopping Carts
The Silicon Valley Direct Fulfillment Solution is integrated with 80 of the most widely used shopping carts and marketplaces. These include Amazon, Big Commerce, Magento, Shopify, Volusion WooCommerce and many others. Orders are automatically downloaded within a few minutes. Later in the day, Inventory and shipping updates are sent back every afternoon. Click here for more information about eCommerce integrations.
Order Files Transferred via FTP
In some cases, you may wish to send batches of orders in files generated by your system (.csv, .txt, etc.) via FTP or email. Our system includes an order import mapping tool that allows us to define your data elements to tour corresponding fields. Therefore, once configured, we can detect the presence of new order files in a designated FTP folder. Thus, automatically import them into the system for processing.
System Integration with Web Services
Web Services provide a framework that enables your developers create sophisticated, real-time integrations between SVDirect and your custom shopping cart, ERP or CRM systems. In addition, Web Services support close to 20 different transactions including importing orders, defining new products and inquiring on shipping status.
System Integration with API Custom Programming
You may have very specific requirements (or limitations) regarding the format in which you can send order data, and/or the method in which the data may be transferred. Consequently, for those unusual cases that cannot be accommodated with our existing suite of import options, custom programming is available. Our Professional Services team has extensive experience in developing custom import programs that use a variety of formats and communication protocols.
